"Taste" of Voices Exchange

Voices Exchange is celebrating the unveiling of its new on-line resource database of progressive speakers and performers, with a select group of speakers, musicians, storytellers, and poets-all providing a taste of what each one offers. Speakers and performers will have 5-10 minutes each to whet the appetite of potential host groups - a "taste" but not a meal. The afternoon receptions are designed to introduce Voices Exchange to as many host groups as possible.

Voices Exchange was founded to put civic, religious and educational organizations in touch with speakers, performers and films whose message is not readily available in the main-stream media. This non-profit was created by three Chicago-area groups - American Friends Service Committee, Oak Park Coalition for Truth and Justice, and United for Peace - Faithful Citizenship.

Taste a morsel of the finest hors d'oeuvres we can cook up!
